Host Transfer Procedure
This section outlines the steps for transferring a host from one server to another. Be sure that the new server meets CygNet Software operating system and hardware specifications.
Assumptions
- The new server will run the same version of CygNet as the old server.
- The new server will run the same CygNet components as the old server.
- The new server contains no CygNet Software (services, applications, libraries).
- The IP address of the old server will be transferred to the new server.
